We are in Idaho Falls!

This is Luke and His Grandpa Bates, he babysits luke each night while we go to the show!

Well, just Luke and I are in Idaho Falls. Andrew has school and work so he was unable to come with us. But Luke sure misses his Daddy and I miss my husband even more! Both Luke and I are doing really well. He was lucky and did not get an ear infection after his RSV, which is common in many babies. We have been keeping him inside and it is so good to see our little man's personality coming back. I, however, have not been having as speedy of a recovery. After I finished the antibiotic, my fever was gone but I'm still frequently having coughing attacks that can be painful, and usually result in me losing my lunch. But we are so grateful that we are all feeling better.

We are here visiting my little sister, Kim, who is the lead in the District Musical this year. They are doing Bye Bye Birdie and she is so stinkin' cute. She plays Kim Macafee and I am so proud of her. She is amazing and looks so beautiful on stage. She wears a lot of my costumes, and I almost cry every night!!!!

But nothing makes her happier than to play with her nephew. We have a little to much fun. Here we are, my mom, kim and I off camera playing with Luke. These might all seem the same to others, but we couldn't choose just one because we thought they were all so cute!

Here are some of our cute Idaho Pictures! (At the request of Aunt Cori.) This is a new sleeper Luke's Grandma Bates gave him. I love it. It makes his legs look so long. He is getting so big. And here he is in his dino outfit, we have way to much fun!

Discharged

Hello everyone,

Great news! Luke is on the mend and was discharged from the hospital yesterday (Monday) morning. Being back in the hospital with Luke was stranly familiar and, in all honesty, easier to handle than it otherwise would have been since we've been down that road before. His cough is improving and he's much less conjested than he has been. We're very appreciative for all of the concern and love you have shown for our little guy and for Kristi. She is getting better as well, albeit, her recovery has been slow. As anyone could guess, it's hard to get rest and heal when you're worried to death about your baby. Thankfully for us, Kristi's mother came down from Idaho to help out and has really lightened our load. She couldn't have come at a better time with Kristi being sick and me having to be gone at work (I had two double shifts back to back while Luke was in the hospital). We can't say thank you enough to her. These are a few pictures so you can get a taste of the past few stressful days from our life.

No more wires please.

Back in the Saddle Again (actually the Hospital)

Yes, It has been a very cazy week. On Friday I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia and Luke has RSV. he was admitted into the hospital on Friday and we are hoping that we might be able to leave tomorrow. He is doing well, and we have lots of very cute hospital pictures. But we forgot our camera cord so I will have to ad them later. He has mad ehuge improvements since yesterday and has just needed a ittle oxygen every now and then. I am healing an my mom has come down to take care of us while we are here. Life is great and we are doing well, and are so glad we are able to be here where they can take such good care of luke. We will post more again soon!
