The Happpiest Anniversary on Earth-Part # 3

(This is part 3 of the documentation of the most amazing trip I have ever taken- I am picking up where my previous post ended. Once again feel free to skip the text and scroll through the pictures:-) Click here to hear about our trip from the beginning.

One of the best parts of this vacation was that it was all planned. Andrew had scheduled our days and had made dining reservations. Which was fabulous all I had to do was get up and enjoy! Did I mention how much I love him? So day two of our Florida adventure began Friday morning with breakfast at the animal Kingdom Lodge. Such a beautiful place. As we ate out side lots of exotic birds flew around us. on landed on the umbrella right over Andrew's head. He poked it and it flew away but it made for a pretty cool picture. I was in love with the animal kingdom straws. Because of the animals, they only use paper straws and I had never used one before. I liked it LOTS. Kristi + paper straws = Happiness. So after a breakfast we took a couple of couple pictures in the Animal Kingdom Lodge it is so so beautiful!

But we finally headed over to Animal Kingdom.
This was going to be a fun day.

Two of my good friends I worked with at Playmill are now cast in the Finding Nemo The Musical. And did I mention they are amazing! Andrea plays Dory and Adam her husband is Mr. Ray/Marlin.I have been so excited to see them in this.
Almost 2 years ago I got them into the park and we all went to see this show together and now they are up there being amazing. Seriously these people might be two of the most talented individuals I have ever met. I love them!!!! We got to play with my dear friend Andrea in the morning and have priority seating for their show in the afternoon. AMAZING. After we went back and got some picture with the cast of Nemo. What do you think of Andrew and I in Dory and Ray's hats? I like it I think I need to get one of my own. On a side note, I also learned that the designer of the nemo costumes was inspired by speed skaters in the winter Olympics. - Interesting hu?
After we stopped at Its tough to be a Bug. I think we had a little to much fun with the Camera in there:-)

But the after NEMO the most important item was Expedition Everest. I had been pregnant when it opened and this was my first time to ride it. Needless to say I loved it. I know I have used that expression a lot but it was just how I felt this week. Full of Love!
Ahh, see even Everest was feeling the love.
After everest we went on the rest of the must do rides Dinosaur, that really jerky on in dino land, etc. We went on Cali-river Rapids. On which we got absolutely soaked. Some people made it through completely dry. But for Andrew and I, we could not have gotten more wet if we submerged ourselves. I seriously have never gotten that wet on any ride ever! It was fun and we had to go change for dinner, so we called it a day at the Animal Kingdom. Man o Man was it fun.
So we went home and changed for dinner and headed back to the Studios for dinner at the 50"s Prime Time Cafe.

I have always wanted to eat there but for some reason it had just never happened. So of course Andrew made it happen on this trip. When we arrived at Studios we got a picture with the boy off the bus who serenaded us and watched the Highschool Musical 3 show.
And then proceeded to the 50's Prime Time Cafe. For those of you who have never heard of it. You sit in a little 1950's kitchenette and are instructed in proper dining etiquette.
But by far the most important thing at the cafe is the
****** PEANUT BUTTER and JELLY SHAKE*****
Yes that is correct a shake.
It is a favorite of pretty much everyone I know. If you know me I don't care for mixing flavors but even I could not resist its powers of temptation. So we got meatloaf and salmon and I drew pictures on my napkins. It was so much fun. And I had to get pictures in the kitchenette after.
SO SO SO FUN.
We played a little more in studios. Went on the important rides, like the Great Movie Ride (as pictured :-)

Then we headed back to Downtown Disney to buy a Christmas ornament and eat at the Earl of Sandwich. Oh the All-American.... It is our favorite. But Andrew wanted it with cranberries and I wanted it without. But I got them anyways. I was pouting so Andrew took a picture. And even with the little bit of cranberry goop I couldn't scrape off, the sandwich was still amazing.
So we headed back home and went swimming.
It was like 1 AM but the pool was busy. The guards said people could swim as long as it did not disturb anyone.
So Andrew and I soaked our feet, swam and watched the very large security guard chase drunk 30 year olds up and down the decorative pyramid. It was so so funny. Good times. And thus ended Day 2 of the best vacation of my life!

The Happpiest Anniversary on Earth- Part #2

(This is part 2 of the documentation of the most amazing trip I have ever taken- I am picking up where my previous post ended. Once again feel free to skip the text and scroll through the pictures:-) Click here to hear about our trip from the beginning.

We had only been in Orlando for less than 24 hours but around 5 PM we left our resort and headed over to the Disney Studios. I was ready to play and EAT. Eating was a very important part of this vacation. So we started off with pictures of us on the tram. Happy! When we got into the park we stopped at my favorite store,The Disney Antique Shop (it is directly to your left as you come into the studios) Following the antique shop we meandered around until it was time to get down to buisness and ride some rides. You see, the last time we lived in FL I was very pregnant the entire time and was unable to go on most rides, especially roller coasters. So these where a priority. But first we grabbed a bite to eat at a place that we had never been. Toy Story's PIZZA PLANET.
It was really fun. We liked it a lot. It wasn't there when we moved so it was a new fun adventure. We played a little more in the park and received our second serenade on the boulevard. We loved all the Happy Anniversary songs.
So at this point we made a B-Line for the Rockin' Roller Coaster.
Yes, I love this ride and it had been a good 3 years since I had been on it. So we waited in our first real line for it.

We got bored and took pictures with our tickets. I got Minnie and he got Donald. Ahhhh cuteness. And at last we got on and had an amazing ride. I really do love that ride.

But it started to get dark and we decided to go to the new ride we had never seen...
Toy Story Mania. Fun Fun Fun.

We loved this ride but once again we had a rather long wait so you get to experience our line pictures.

Then with all the parks closed it was off to Down Town Disney.
I love down town.
It is just a neat place to be. We had to have our classic sandwich at Earl of Sandwich and we had to stop by the Ghirardelli shop to get our free chocolate. It was a peanut butter night- Thats a good sign :-) And then it was off to the Christmas Shop, the World of Disney and Once Upon a Toy. And of course we had to take the classic pictures. I have so many memories in this place. I came on my first College Program in 2001-2002. Back in 2004-2005 and then back in 2007-2008. CRAZY! Not much has changed in Down Town, I love it. So this concludes my first day in Florida. I remember laying down that night and thinking "this can't be real" It was an awesome surprise, Andrew is amazing.
(Thus ended the first day at of the best Vacation of my life. To read about the next day click on this post.)

The Happiest Anniversary on Earth!!!!!

Last Wedsnday began as any other day for me until Andrew came to pick me up from work around noon. I turned to him and said "where's the baby?" and his reply was priceless. "At Grandma's, we've got to hurry we only have an hour to make it to the airport.
We are going to Orlando!"
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I can't even explain how much I love this man! He had gotten work off for me, rescheduled appointments, worked out child care and everything so that we could spend a whole week celebrating our anniversary at the Happiest Place on Earth. He took me back to the place we met, fell in love, dated, and had our baby.
He took me home.

This will be a very long fun detailed cronicle of the most amazing trip I have ever taken in my
life. Feel free to skip the text and scroll through the pictures.
But to sum it up, it was amazing.

So it began with a mad crazy rush to the Salt Lake airport but we arrived with plenty of time to spare. I was in shock the whole way. But by far my favorite moment was when we
where on shuttle from the parking garage and the driver turned around and asked Andrew and I if we were
eloping! HAHAHA I love it. So we took a picture.

We arrived in Orlando around 9:30 at night. It was a
beautiful 89 degrees and very very humid. I loved it. I started singing (really signing) about drinking in the amazing air. I LOVE humidity- I love to drink the air. Love it, love it, love it. So I was still kind of in shock at this point and couldn't help my self I had to sing out my Love of Orlando.

Next we met our rental car she was named "Focus" for obvious reasons. But I loved her she was a symbol of our vacation. Oh, look what a romantic little car she was :-)

So after that was all set up we set out for Mark's house.
Mark is an amazing man who was Andrew's boss on his internship and someone who has become one of our most fabulous friends. He helped Andrew set everything up for the trip and we LOVE him. His house was beautiful and we stayed in his guest room our first night there.
It was so romantic and Mark had lit candles all around. Isn't it a beautiful room? Thank you Mark, for everything!!!!!!!!!!!

After we got to Mark's house I received my next big surprise.
We would be staying in the King Suit at the Coronado Springs resort on Disney Property!!!! AAHHHHHH! I have never stayed on property like this before. It was AMAZING!

The next morning we got up and went to EPCOT.

It was our first day and we were ecstatic to be back at Disney. We started by getting some food in Mexico. If you have never eaten there you need to. It is in the pyramid and it is so romantic. Loved it. But first we were serenaded with a love song for our Anniversary.
Too cute. They were amazing. It was so fun, and inside we ate duck tacos and had Pina Coladas. YUMMMM!!! Then we went on the Mexico ride and had to take a picture of our feet because they where just to stinking cute!

So we spent the rest of the morning at EPCOT and checked into our suit around 4 PM. Oh my goodness, it was INCREDIBLE!

This is the front room and this is the bedroom. I loved it, It was such a nice relaxing place to stay. Basically it was just the icing on the cake.
So after we were all checked in we headed to Disney studios for the secong half of our first day. Click here to read all about it!
