Life is Going Great!

We are so happy it's spring. It's amazing how much of a difference the sun makes!

Luke is doing tons better. He is progressing and is catching up quite a bit. We still have a little way to go until he is all caught up, but we are so proud of how well he is doing. He is reaching for toys and mimicking sounds and is gaining strength in his arms. And has now deduced that if he makes cute singing sounds we will pick him up. He has also discovered his ability to stick both of his fists in his mouth at the same time, this is quite amazing to see. He is also getting better on pushing up on his arms. Although tummy time is still the most rough part of our day. Below is a picture of us working on our tummy time with the boppy.

It is great that summer is here, Luke and I have started taking walks, below was his very first walk. We took it with aunt Kim, when she came to Provo for her tour of BYU. he loved playing with his aunt. It was so fun to have her here, she came the week of Andrew's finals so it was also nice to have the extra help.

The weather is great, and Andrew and I have taken up gardening our 3 little flower beds outside the front of the house. Andrew is starting his first summer term and is only taking one class. This is wonderful. It means we have a lot more time to spend together.

Here is Luke sporting some trainers his Grandma Bates gave him. I think they are the cutest shoes. He is growing so fast he has almost grown out of anything that isn't 6 months. He is also wearing some of his summer outfits which we hadn't been able to put him in before.

This is Luke playing in his saucer that was given to him by his Grandmother Hill. It has really helped him with his coordination he has figured out how to spin one of the toys. And is mesmorized by anything that has a face on it. He loves faces, it doesn't matter if it is drawn on a toy or one in real life. Maybe he will be our little people person.

But again we are so sorry that we can not blog more often, our internet is still few and far between. But we love you all and hope you are all doing so well. Thank you so much for your calls and prayers!

The pictures are wonderful. It is great to hear he is doing so much better. I talk to Grandma Bates since I do not have your phone number, and she tries to keep me updated. I love you all and hope that things continue to improve. He is getting cuter every time I see pictures. Take care and let me know if there is anything that I can do.
