loVe, Luke
Luke likes the Zoo but usually he would rather watch the other children than the animals. Luckily when my mother and I took Luke to the Idaho Falls Zoo last month, school hadn't ended so Luke had few distractions from the many exotic animals at the Tauphuas Park Zoo. But in truth it is a super cute little zoo for a town the size of Idaho Falls. My sister Cori worked at the gift shop there while she was in high school. I have lots of happy memories of this Zoo. Like putting your head in the lion drinking fountain. Luke didn't want a drink but I had to take a picture of him with it.but Luke liked the monkeys...didn't care to much about the penguins... and loved the birds walking around
But the best part was....
The Petting ZOO
Yes this petting zoo was awesome complete with a Yak, Chickens, two Donkeys and Luke's personal favorite the SHEEP

I love my Luke!

Yesterday, Luke went in for an MRI. He was such a trooper. Everything went really well. Luke could eat clear liquids up to four hours before the procedure so we had a very early breakfast of Otter Pops. Around noon we headed toward Salt Lake to get Luke checked in. We went to the new Primary Children's Out Patient Facility and had a really good experience. For him the best part of day was the waiting room. They had pretty great toys :-)

Luke is such a even tempered child we thought he would go under really easily. He didn't :-) I have never seen him fight so hard. But he woke up super well. We were prepared with Babes and Toyland on Daddy's phone and I think that helped him a lot.

Luke slept all the way back to Provo. I had to sit in back with him and make sure his head did not fall forward, i think this might have cut off my circulation a little. Or maybe it was the stress of the day but either way the ride home took its toll on my pregnant body. Either way we ended up having to pull off in Lehi. But after a bit I felt better and we headed home. So Luke and I spent the afternoon laying down. (p.s I am not quite as big as I look in this picture:-) We did everything we could to keep him awake but it wasn't until Aunt Kimmy came over that he started to get a little of his old personality back. You see, Kimmy brought Luke a bag of his very favorite food, Cheddar Ruffles. It was the first thing we could get him to eat. And because Andrew left for scout camp Kimmy spent the evening with us.
Luke is perfect this morning. The nurse called to check on him and I was happy to say that he was back to his normal silly self. I love this little man so much!

The Cabin! Playmill! and Friends!

This is my favorite place on Earth.
Seriously, it is.
It's my happy place.
And this weekend I was able to share it with my favorite people!
Let me introduce them to you...

Andrew
He loves the cabin too!
Did I mention I love this man?

Amy, Chuck, Hillary, Tavnir
This is one of my favorite groups of people in the entire world. We get together every Thursday for Office Night. But Amy, Hillary, Tavnir and I all worked at the Playmill Theatre in West Yellowstone so we decided to take a little trip together and visit our beloved Playmill family. Their shows are amazing this year. Go and see it, you will love it. It was such a fun trip. We ate tons, stayed up way to late, and basically had an amazing trip. Best travel buddies ever.

Luke

cutest kid ever.
This was Luke's second time to the Cabin. So we had to take lots of pictures of him...

Dear Daddy!!!!

Dear Daddy,

We miss you. Mommy and I have had lots of fun here in Idaho, but we wish you were here. And I am sure you miss me. So I thought I would write to you and tell you what we have been doing. This is a picture of me and Mommy after church today. I was great at church and super tired when we got home. I threw up all my pizza and mom decided to put me straight to bed. But I got to take Grandpa's Tape Measure with me (its my new favorite toy). Mom has kept me super busy, mostly inside because it has been raining whole lots.. But we are still having a lot of fun adventures. My favorites is The Mall. I love to walk around it. But the very very best part is the Play Area- there are toys!!! I know where they are in the mall and if we don't walk that way I through a huge tantrum. We have also gone out to eat a few times.
We went to a Diner and to Applebees.
As you can see, I always need to have MY spoons to play with.
I am having lots of fun playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house too...
Playing the Piano.Picking my Favorite Flower. I LOVE dandelions!

And of course, being super Duper Silly!!!
I love you Daddy and I miss you so so so much. Come and play with us soon!

Love,
Luke and Mommy

Idaho!!!!!

Luke and I decided to take a little trip this week to Idaho Falls. Yay, we Love Idaho Falls. We wished Andrew could have come but he had to work. Blahhh :-) But it seemed a perfect opportunity to go visit Grandma and Grandpa...

We arrived on Friday but in the short time here Luke has learned the two most best and most important things.

1) Grandpa!

Grandpa makes the world go round here. Luke wakes up each morning. Sticks his head out of the pack and play and says "Pam-pa!" Church was also a problem as Grandpa sits on the stand and it infuriated Luke that he could not yell to him or go and see him. Hence we spent all of Sacrament Meeting in the hall. But Grandpa and Luke have had some fabulous quality time on saturday. Luke was very helpful. He helped Granpa fix Kimmie's car, took Grandpa on a run and opened and shut the garage door for Grandpa. Basically Grandpa makes the world go round, awesome!

2)
The Back Yard
On Saturday Luke discovered a beautiful, magical place behind the garage. A place that he can run around, pick up stones, and scream as loud as he would like. The Back Yard has become the main attraction. Luke's thoughts : "Wow this is a back yard! I love this place."
